Installation and operation manual

For External Only

  • Unwind the cable, select the direction for a left-handed or right-handed guitar on the pickup, and secure the cable in the appropriate place.
  • Loosen the screws of the pickup slightly.
  • Place the pickup into the resonator hole and tighten the screws.
  • Connect the XLR connector to the microphone input of your combo, mixer, audio interface, etc.
  • Turn on the Phantom power if it is not enabled by default.

 

  For internal only

  • Remove the strap lock from your instrument at the bottom of the guitar if it is there (we recommend this location for installing the endpin).
  • Make a hole with a drill or router with a diameter of 12 mm / 15/32 inches.
  • Secure the endpin with a nut and a locknut (adjusting the length of the output beforehand).
  • Select the direction for a left-handed or right-handed guitar on the pickup and secure the cable in the appropriate place.
  • Loosen the screws of the pickup slightly.
  • Place the pickup into the resonator hole and tighten the screws.
  • Connect the stereo jack to the socket in the guitar.
  • Connect the XLR connector to the microphone input of your combo, mixer, audio interface, etc.
  • Turn on the Phantom power (+48) if it is not enabled by default.
